We hope all is going well in this Fall term!

As many of the members have graduated and moved on from Waterloo la Sociedad is in need of participants to continue and lead the club through social events and bring its members together to celebrate the Spanish-speaking culture.

We would like to invite those who are interested to visit the Spanish Lounge, ML 245B, and take a look at organizing some social events for the students who share a passion for the culture. It does take a little bit of time but events do not need to be fancy, it is as much as coordinating with some friends to have a movie night, or salsa night or a conversation session.

The Spanish Society hosts, usually in coordination with LASALAS (WLU), an annual semi-formal dinner and dance for students and professors of the department. In order for this to be a success again this Winter, la Sociedad is in need of some students to take the role of participating in the Executive team.

If you are at all interested in participating, in any degree, to keep la Sociedad Española running, please contact Dra. Sillato or Dra. Gutierrez of the Spanish department.
